Hi my name is Hannah and I Set up Safy Fitness in 2020 after moving to Norwich with my two girls.
I’m a big fan of exercising in the great outdoors.
I used to be a rower in Cambridge, early morning training in the winter on the river !!!
The aim of Safy Fitness for me personally is help make keeping strong and fit a fun, sociable experience that also gets clients the results they are looking for.
We also aim to provide a service that’s available to everyone. Hence sessions where you can bring your kiddies too.
I love running our outdoor group sessions, seeing clients improving, making friends and enjoying exercise.
And when it comes to PT sessions seeing clients reach their goals and often more is so rewarding.
I’m Fiona, I’ve been instructing since 2006, and I’m so excited to join the SAFY team. I loved keeping my body fit and strong through pregnancy and post partum, but goodness do I know how hard it was to do it all alone-through lockdown 2020!
That’s why these child friendly sessions make so much sense to me, I have the qualifications and the personal experience to walk that journey alongside you - Mummas, Daddas, Mummas to be, you’re in safe, sympathetic hands! This is a zero judgement zone!
I’ve been working as a level 3 personal trainer for nearly 7 years and a bootcamp instructor for 5. I’m also qualified as a corrective exercise specialist and hold further qualifications in boxing, kettlebells, TRX and mental health awareness. I’m currently studying towards a level 3 GP referral qualification.
I got into the fitness industry 7 years ago after losing 12 stone and going from very unfit to running ultras and riding centuries.
It is my passion to help those beginning and returning to exercise. To give those who may be lacking in confidence the opportunity to realise what they're capable of when supported in a friendly, non-judgemental environment. For anyone more experienced I will always make sure there are options to challenge and progress!
Strength training has been my prime focus for my own fitness in recent years and I’m always keen to get out on my bike to a cafe whenever the sun shines! I also really love boxing, and this passion shows as I like to include it in my sessions.
I’m super excited to be given the opportunity to work at SAFY fitness as it’s been a key part of my exercise schedule for a while!
After having my baby and giving myself excuses not to get back to exercise I decided it's time I got back to it. And I loved it, Hannah makes me feel comfortable to be in the session and I have enjoyed the variety of work outs within the session. Highly recommend
Safy fitness is brilliant, buggy bootcamp is a great, fun way to get back to fitness activities after having a baby, and a lovely way to meet other new mums as well. Have also done the kettlebells class which is really good, and will be starting ladies bootcamp soon!
Can’t recommend Hannah and buggy Boot Camp enough as a reintroduction to exercise after having a baby. The class is so friendly and relaxed and you manage to get a good workout even if your baby is not co-operating! Saturday bootcamp and kettlebells are also child friendly and are perfect when you’re ready to take the next step exercise wise.
Opening Hours: Monday-Friday: 6am–7:30pm, Saturday: 6am–12:30pm, Sunday: Closed
